When your abstract is accepted we invite you to write an extended abstract/ paper of ca 5-6 pages. This extended abstract will be reviewed by one of the members of our review board (that exists of scholars in the relevant fields). The papers will be published in a conference book published by Brill (previous edition: Transforming food systems: ethics, innovation and responsibility (wageningenacademic.com). Each publication will be published Open Access.
Since these papers are mostly not full journal manuscripts you can still publish further elaborated or reworked versions in a peer-reviewed Journal.
